Not because the technology wasn’t impressive, but because our core clients, particularly in the corporate and B2B space, didn’t seem to want it. The focus was always on high-quality stills, instant delivery and frictionless UX. AI video booths felt more like a festival gimmick than a serious engagement tool for brand activations.
But that has now changed.
What’s shifted in the AI photo booth corporate event market?
In early 2025, we started seeing a new pattern:
Corporate clients, particularly in finance, technology and professional services, began asking not only for images but also for motion content that felt elevated, personalised and on-brand. Not TikTok trends. Not “deepfake celeb” clips. Just short, polished AI-generated loops featuring a guest’s likeness, crafted to feel like a natural extension of the brand story.
That was when we decided it was time to face reality and take action.

1. Motion = Engagement
Still photos are excellent, but video drives even more visibility. LinkedIn is prioritising them, let alone Instagram, WhatsApp and beyond. Corporate guests are just as happy to show off a slick five-second clip as they are a headshot.
