AI Photo Booth for MOAA - Total Force+ 2025
At Total Force+ 2025, Snapmatic partnered with MOAA to create an AI photo booth that helped service members visualise their dream civilian careers during transition.

Helping Service Members Envision Their Next Chapter at Total Force+ 2025
At Total Force+ 2025, held in Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center, Fort Washington, MD - Military Officers Association of America (MOAA) set out to create something meaningful for the community they serve: a space where service members, veterans, and spouses could imagine what comes next.
This wasn’t a typical conference moment.
It was part of a larger mission: supporting those transitioning out of the military by helping them see themselves in new careers, new identities, and new possibilities.
So instead of traditional headshots, MOAA wanted something more inspiring. Something hopeful. Something that fit the event’s theme of “Advancing Solutions for a Stronger Future.”
That’s where Snapmatic came in.
An AI Photo Booth Designed for Purpose, Not Just Fun
MOAA asked if we could create an AI-driven experience that would let attendees visualize themselves in their “dream jobs” - whether as a chef, doctor, firefighter, racecar driver, police officer, or dozens of other civilian paths.
The goal was simple but powerful:
Help attendees picture their future.
Not abstractly.
Not theoretically.
But literally - in a photo.
A version of themselves standing confidently in the career they’ve always imagined.
For those beginning their transition out of the military, this visual moment became surprisingly emotional. It wasn’t about costumes or gimmicks. It was about identity, purpose, and possibility.

A Mission-Aligned Activation for a Community That Deserves It
The AI booth became a steady draw throughout the event - not because it was flashy, but because it resonated deeply with the people it was designed for.
Service members saw themselves in new roles.
Spouses imagined their next steps.
Families celebrated what their future could look like together.
It connected perfectly with MOAA’s long-standing charitable mission: supporting and advocating for the full lifecycle of the military community - including the pivotal step of transitioning into civilian careers.
For many attendees, the photos became a keepsake of confidence. A reminder that they have options. That they have value. That the next chapter can be exciting.
What MOAA Had to Say
After the event, we received this message from Cathy Artino, MOAA’s Director of Major Events:
“We absolutely loved the photo booth experience - and so did our attendees. It was such a fun and seamless addition to the show. This is a partnership we’d love to continue in the years ahead, and I’m excited to see how your software and capabilities keep evolving as the technology gets even better.
It was truly a pleasure working with you, and I’m looking forward to doing it again.”
We’re honored to support an organization with such a meaningful mission — and thrilled to join them again for their next major event in 2027.
Looking Ahead
For us, this activation was a reminder of what technology can do when it serves a purpose.
AI can spark joy.
It can entertain.
But it can also empower, encourage, and help people see the future they deserve.
If your organization is supporting a community in transition, celebrating a mission, or creating a moment with heart, we’d love to help craft an experience that resonates just as deeply.
