TechnologyOne – “What If " you could save more time - AI Photo Booth Brand Activation

Overview
Following the success of Snapmatic’s work with Imagination and the Commonwealth Bank of Australia, TechnologyOne approached Snapmatic to create an interactive AI activation for their nationwide Showcase Roadshow in October 2025.
The campaign’s creative concept, titled “What If”, invited attendees to reimagine what they might do with extra hours in their day - out of the question - What if your organization could spend less but achieve more, reduce time spent on manual administration tasks and instead, use it to prepare for the future?
The Brief
TechnologyOne wanted an activation that would resonate emotionally with business and government audiences, reinforcing the brand’s promise of making life simpler through technology.
The idea: rather than focusing on products or features, the experience would encourage participants to picture their lives after adopting TechnologyOne solutions - when time is no longer a constraint.
Participants were asked to imagine themselves spending that extra time doing something personally meaningful, from relaxing on a beachside getaway to learning pottery, volunteering, or curling up with a good book.
The Experience
Guests at each roadshow stop could simply scan a QR code to activate the AI experience directly on their own devices - no booth queue required.
Once activated, users selected their preferred “What If” theme:

🤝 Volunteering moment
Snapmatic’s AI engine then generated a personalized image of the participant in that imagined setting, delivering a shareable and meaningful creative output direct to their device.
A live digital gallery at each venue displayed participants’ AI images in real time, creating a sense of connection and excitement as attendees saw their reimagined selves appear onscreen.
The Roadshow
The activation traveled to four cities as part of TechnologyOne’s Showcase series:
- Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Center – October 9, 2025
- Tākina Event Center, Wellington (NZ) – October 16, 2025
- ICC Sydney – October 24, 2025
- Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Center – October 29, 2025
Each stop drew hundreds of interactions, with the Wellington and Sydney shows seeing particularly high participation rates.
Results
The “What If” AI activation became one of the most talked-about features of the TechnologyOne Showcase. Attendees shared their AI creations widely across social channels, sparking conversations around productivity, creativity, and balance.
By allowing users to visualize what they could do with more time, the activation transformed TechnologyOne’s brand message into an emotional and interactive story - perfectly aligned with the company’s mission to make life simple for its community.
