Lenovo’s London AI Photo Booth Brand Activation – Smarter AI For All
This AI photo booth brand activation was significantly more complex than a standard project: it was outdoors, gesture-controlled and delivered three different format outputs.
In November 2024, in London, creative events agency TBA Plc commissioned Snapmatix to deliver a transformational AI photo booth activation as the centrepiece of Lenovo’s ambitious out-of-home (OOH) campaign.
Everyday Heroes, Not Fantasy Worlds
Rather than leaning into fantastical themes, this activation focused on six ‘everyday heroes’ of work, archetypes designed to highlight how AI can enhance practical professions. This shift away from fantasy-based content created a more authentic and relatable brand experience, showing how Lenovo’s ‘Smarter AI For All’ vision applies to real industries.
Immersive Brand Activation Across London
The Lenovo AI Portal was designed as a fully immersive, 360-degree journey where visitors could explore the transformative power of AI. Using gesture-controlled photo booth technology, guests stepped into six different industry environments, generated their own customised AI image, and discovered how Lenovo’s AI solutions are shaping smarter ways of working and living.
Each visitor left with a printed version of their AI creation, along with a Lenovo-branded tote bag, providing a tangible memento from a cutting-edge digital experience.
Bringing AI to the Streets of London
The activation took place across three iconic London locations:

📍 Victoria: 4–5 December
📍 Waterloo: 10–11 December

By combining AI-powered experiential marketing with a high-profile OOH strategy, Lenovo delivered a campaign that was both technically innovative and emotionally engaging.
