Overview
Following the success of Snapmatic’s work with Imagination and the Commonwealth Bank of Australia, TechnologyOne commissioned an interactive AI activation for their nationwide Showcase Roadshow in October 2025.
The campaign’s creative concept, “What If”, invited delegates to reimagine what they could achieve with extra hours in their day. The core proposition was simple: What if your organisation could spend less but achieve more, reducing time spent on manual administration to focus on preparing for the future?
The Brief
TechnologyOne required an activation that would resonate emotionally with business leaders and public sector stakeholders, reinforcing the brand’s promise of simplifying professional life through technology.
The strategy shifted the focus away from product features, instead encouraging participants to visualise their lives after adopting TechnologyOne solutions - a world where time is no longer a constraint. Participants were asked to imagine spending that reclaimed time on something personally meaningful, from a coastal getaway to learning a new craft, volunteering, or simply finding the time to read.
The Experience: Frictionless & Mobile-First
To ensure a seamless flow at each roadshow stop, guests simply scanned a QR code to launch the AI experience directly on their own devices - eliminating the need for a physical booth or queues.
Once activated, users selected their preferred “What If” theme:

- 🎨 Pottery Class
- 🏎️ Racing Thrill
- 📚 Reading Retreat
- 🐘 Safari Adventure
- 🎿 Skiing Holiday

Snapmatic’s AI engine generated a personalised, high-fidelity image of the participant in their chosen setting, delivered directly to their device. To drive engagement across the venue, a live digital gallery displayed these reimagined portraits in real time, creating a sense of connection as attendees saw their colleagues’ "future selves" appear on screen.
The Roadshow
The activation travelled to four major venues as part of the TechnologyOne Showcase series:
- Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre – 9 October 2025
- Tākina Event Centre, Wellington (NZ) – 16 October 2025
- ICC Sydney – 24 October 2025
- Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre – 29 October 2025
Each stop drew hundreds of interactions, with the Wellington and Sydney shows seeing particularly high levels of engagement.
The Results
The “What If” AI activation became one of the most talked-about features of the roadshow. By allowing users to visualise the tangible benefits of increased productivity, the activation transformed a corporate message into a human-centric story.
It perfectly mirrored TechnologyOne’s mission: using high-end technology to make life simpler for their community.
